With just about 20 of their closest family and friends Jason and Julie of, Virginia, had a nice intimate afternoon wedding at the beautiful Turtle Bay Resort of the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii. The weather was absolutely gorgeous! The bright Hawaiian sun was shining, the trade winds were blowing just enough to keep things cool and the mountain range provided a nice contrast of greenery.
Jason and Julie got ready in one of the beautiful suites and Julie had everything ready in one convenient area, which made it easy for me to work. After the important details were taken, we took a few portraits of Jason while Julie was getting in her wedding dress. When Julie appeared she looked absolutely amazing in her wedding dress! Her best friend, Grace, helped her get into the dress, put her high-heels on and helped with the accessories. We captured a few portraits of Julie before heading downstairs.
Before the ceremony, parents of the bride and groom were given corsages for the moms and boutonnieres for the dads. My day ended with the ceremony at the Pavilion which Reverend James Chun performed as their officiant, followed by family portraits and formal portraits at Kuilima Lawn and at the Point.
On the next day, Jason, Julie and most of their guests flew to Korea for a Korean version of their wedding before heading back home to Virginia. Thank you for allowing me to capture your Hawaii destination wedding memories!
